Turn any video or GIF into a sticker
Animated stickers for WhatsApp and iMessage in a few seconds. Free, no sign-up, and your files never leave your device.
WhatsApp allows up to 10 seconds. Shorter loops look better and stay sharper.
How to add your sticker
- Download the .webp file.
- Open WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp Desktop and open any chat (a chat with yourself works).
- Drag the file into the chat. It sends as a sticker.
- On your phone, tap the sticker and choose Add to Favorites. It now lives in your sticker tray.
On Android you can also tap Share and pick WhatsApp.
iMessage
- Download or Share → Save Image to put the GIF in Photos.
- In Messages, tap + → Stickers, then tap the big + tile.
- Pick your GIF. It's now an animated sticker you can peel onto any message (iOS 17+).
Or just send the GIF straight into a chat.

FAQ
How do I turn a GIF into a WhatsApp sticker?
Drop the GIF above and press Make stickers. Download the WebP and drag it into WhatsApp Web or Desktop. It shows up as an animated sticker you can favorite.
Can I make a sticker from a video?
Yes. MP4, MOV (including iPhone videos) and WebM all work. Pick up to 10 seconds and the sticker loops forever.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Conversion happens on your device. The page downloads its video engine once, then works with your files locally.
What are WhatsApp's sticker size limits?
Animated stickers must be WebP, exactly 512×512 pixels, under 500 KB and no longer than 10 seconds. If your clip is too heavy, Sticker Maker lowers the quality and frame rate automatically until it fits.
Why is there a background around my sticker?
Videos don't have transparency, so the frame is kept as is. Choose Crop to square to fill the sticker, or use a GIF or PNG with a transparent background to keep it see-through.
